Built six new homes and finished repairing another one – providing families with safe, stable places to live and fostering hope for a brighter future.
Purchased a bus for Deliverance Baptist Church – helping church members and community groups travel safely and easily for worship, outreach, and local events.
Acquired 10 sewing machines and taught 37 women how to use them – empowering women with new skills, boosting economic opportunities, and supporting self-sufficiency.
Built a cover and large deck for the administrative building at the Grotto Home for the Homeless (GH) – offering residents and staff a comfortable, sheltered space for meetings and activities.
Installed solar panels and all necessary electrical equipment to take the GH off the grid – reducing energy costs by over $10,000 each year and ensuring reliable, sustainable power for the facility.
Built a chicken coop to create a sustainable protein supply for the GH – improving
and providing ongoing food resources for residents.
Purchased and installed 2 washer machines and 1 dryer for the GH – making it easier for residents to maintain hygiene and dignity with accessible laundry facilities.
Built a laundry shed for the GH – creating a dedicated space to support daily living and enhance the well-being of residents.
Purchased and installed Air Conditioning for Deliverance Baptist Church – making gatherings more comfortable and welcoming for everyone.
Acquired 650+ pairs of new soccer cleats – equipping young athletes and encouraging healthy physical activity and teamwork.
Washed more than 1,400 feet and gave their new cleats – showing care and compassion of Christ among local youth.
Led 148 children, parents, and coaches into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ – nurturing spiritual growth and building a supportive faith community.
Looking ahead, we’re eager to continue making a difference. In 2027, RCL and the Church at Indian Trail plan to help the Grotto Home for the Homeless by creating a sustainable clean water supply, which will reduce illness and improve daily life. We also aim to partner with Dominica Community High School to rebuild agricultural science facilities and set up a computer lab, giving students better access to technology and education. Additionally, we hope to create a more functional space for children in the Chances halfway house, offering them a safe and nurturing environment.
